TS-458 comes with the latest Bluetooth version - 4.0. This version of   Bluetooth enhances connection capability, reduces battery use and is   compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled device. This chip offers wireless pairing and stable connection from up to 33 ft away. It works with iPhone, iPad mini, iPad air 4/3/2, iPod, iTouch, Nexus, Samsung Galaxy S4/S5/S6, note, laptop with Bluetooth function and other smart phones and MP3 players. If your audio device does not have Bluetooth connectivity, you can use the 3.5 mm aux-in connection to connect this portable speaker system to older devices such as MP3 players or iPods.
