    Quality mount, but know what you're doing.

    I found the motorized retractable ceiling TV mount to be easy enough to install, but it did require a little bit of creativity for my application. Like many others, I installed this on a sheetrock ceiling so the included instructions weren't terribly helpful. I wound up bridging a few trusses with thick plywood and using my own hardware to secure the mount. The motion is a little bit on the slow side, but that's probably safer than a heavy TV quickly swinging around my room. I would not hesitate to recommend this mount to anyone.

    Could be better

    It would be nice if it could extend down longer, have a faster motor, and a better & more detailed instructions. Besides those things, it’s a cool mount.
