A few things, If your tower is 17in without the tower feet, it will not fit against the L bracket. The L bracket should be adjustable to accommodate at least slight shorter towers, it only adjusts to the length of the tower. The base it sits on, should be vented or a mesh to help with air flow. Lastly, the mounting bracket should detachable to make it more manageable to actually mount it. I kept trying to remove it because as one person trying to hold the whole thing in place while marking the holes was difficult.

Bought this item a few days ago via Home Depot; the Home Depot listing did not indicate minimum size computer dimensions on the product description but assured that the mount was adjustable. It is not compatible with my PC size (Fractal North), which is shy about half a centimeter from the top. The home depot listing pictures seemed to depict that the device was compatible with their Husky line of work benches, but when drilled in and clearances allowed, the mount is inset too far from the edge of the workbench to be visually appealing-- the bench frame collides with the "L" bracket of the mount (which is intended for optional "wall" use). Suggestions: * this item is not compatible with the Fractal North case as the horizontal supporting bar is placed too high; the placement of that bar is not adjustable. Additional mounting points halfway down would make this compatible with Mid-ATX cases. * For additional stability, I would prefer that the horizontal bar is inset into the vertical support such that the case would sit flush against the vertical support. More surface area. The case seats flimsily otherwise. * The "Wall" portion of the L brace cuts into my knee. I'd sell a 'wall-specific' mount and a 'under-desk-specific' mount (and manufacture the L-brace separately). * would be nice to include a cardboard insert with drill points so I don't have to lift the mount into place and mark with a pencil. My overall rating for the mount itself is 5 stars, though I’ve got a couple of suggestions to provide, as I wanted to rate the product itself and not the overall experience (delivery, install, product). Product: This is my first computer mount and I’m happy with the sturdiness of it. Seems to be built solid, and once attached to the desk, remains sturdy. I’ve even bumped into it a few times and knocked it while turning to go and have not noticed any amount of wiggle, lean, or sagging thankfully. I’ve only had it on the desk with my computer in it for about a week and a half though so time will tell, but I’m fairly confident. Delivery: It arrived much quicker than expected which is a big plus as it allowed me to get ahead on things! On the downside there was a couple of things I think could be better about the packaging. The box arrived banged up and the tape didn’t seem to be holding all that well. Luckily the smaller hardware etc came in a smaller box inside, but the flaps had enough room to stick your hand in. Not sure if this is a result of the shipping service, or the packing materials. There was no padding, cushioning, or stuffing of any kind inside the box, as a result the mount was sliding around quite a bit, making it a little more iffy on if the tape would hold as the box flaps had plenty of play. I understand that it’s a large metal piece so it’s not as fragile, but it may have contributed to the box integrity being tested - especially if you need to carry it a bit…
