Sturdy well made; even when top exceeds recommended dimensions
We received the new design slightly different than pictured on website. The legs on the frame we received are squared not rectangular there is no crossbar between the legs and the top crossbar is made up of two parts not three. If you think about it the new design is probably sturdier than the previous design.I mounted the top to the frame this morning and it feels great. Very sturdy and the slight sway is mostly due to the frame being over carpet.The top is 1 thick 24 deep and 96 wide. The mounting screws are perfect for a 1 thick top. The frame fits perfectly on a top just 24 deep. Even with a top 8' wide it feels sturdy. I set the frame legs at about 58 apart. The top hangs about 16 on both sides.I estimate that between the top two laptops three monitors two desk lamps speakers coffee mug etc. it has about 90 pounds on the frame and it is easy up and down.

Low-cost alternative to the others

The desk was easy to put together. I had one screw that would not fit because one arm holding the keyboard seemed out of line. The desk still fills stable.

Works like a charm
I love this desk. I did change the wheels to a more robust style but only because I work in a warehouse and needed this to clear the door thresholds between the office and warehouse.

Great for you back
Love this product as I work from home. Makes it a lot easier for me so I can stand when I would like so I do not have to have a hunched back!! The only down fall is it is a little wobbly when moving up and down but I can work with that.

Bought this desk for work because I wanted a stand up desk for one screen. Its moves up and down with easy flawlessly. Very easy to assemble leaves me lots and lots of desk space for when I'm sitting. My only qualm is that I have is that I wish the monitor was propped higher so I am able to view my monitor without bending my neck downwards. I was able to remedy this by putting something underneath the monitor to prop it higher. Besides that it's fantastic and I would recommend and buy again.

Sturdy and great looking!
Great desk. Very sturdy and looks very nice. Clean lines and plenty of space on the desk too. It gets used 12 hours a day 7 days a week by multiple staff members and holds up perfectly! Planning on ordering another !

Sturdy and Robust!
This desk is HEAVY. I was most worried about the stability for the desk but this base is super robust. My only point of feedback is the screws provided were too long to attach my 3/4 plywood top. Other than that I love this! I've had other standing desks with cranks and this one seems the most robust.

Bettet than I expected.
I needed a custom size desk for my home office which is quite small. I also wanted to be able to stand up throughout the day. This frame is absolutely perfect. Pretty easy to assemble. Some assumptions needed to be made because I think the instructions aren't very specific. But I think I managed okay. Then I just ordered a desk top separately. I would definitely recommend this product and I would definitely buy this product again. I normally never write reviews but this one was worth my time.

Simple and works great!
I purchased this to replace a desktop adjustable desk as I am working at home and didn't have a sturdy desk to support it. The frame was very easy to assemble and adjusts smoothly. I purchased a 1x24x72 piece of pine for the desktop and now I have a very large adjustable desk.

Why did I wait so long?
I've been using 2 desks one sit down and one rigged up so I can stand. I don't know why I waited so long to get one desk that does both. My new desk top is wood butcherblock countertop from Home Depot and stained mahogany. The desk looks great and works great! I'm setting up my ONE desk this weekend. Thank you for building a high quality and affordable desk solution.

High-Quality Very Robust Excellent Value
Very pleased. As someone noted the photos are old. The legs are now square and the crossbar is now in two pieces not three. But it's quite strong and solid even at full height. We shopped just about every manual crank desk frame online and settled on this one. To address questions we had: The max allowable depth of the top is about 36 unless you mount the top off center or buy a hex rod to extend the handle. (ours is 48 wide close to the minimum practical width).The handle slides out a few inches to use plus it folds up but to provide clearance so you don't accidentally scrape the desktop while cranking the folding handle will still project out slightly (no problem). The included hardware works great for a 1 thick top but the screws might be too long for a 3/4 top at least without spacers. Instructions are adequate; good if mechanically minded but potentially a lilttle confusing if not. Slightly harder to crank going down than going up--which might foreshadow future problems--but for now it's very smooth. Very pleased. The biggest challenge may be getting a wooden desktop (from another vendor) shipped without damage. I lost count of the number of reviews who commented and ours had a ding caused by something punching into the side of the box. That became the underside of the desk and isn't even visible now (just above the crossbar). No matter what it's a big flat corrugated box. If you have a local source consider using it rather than having one shipped even in these COVID times.

Solidly built.
The frame is very sturdy. It took me 20 minutes to assemble. The hand crank was a little short compared to my table top. However my house was collapsed after the hurricane Ida it was gone. I’m sad because I just had it for several days.

Love my desk!
I bought this desk a few years back but only used it about three years and then I moved. I moved to the new place in the one side would not go up. I emailed their customer service and thank you to Joey. He brought a part to my attention that I easily was able to adjust and it works great. This unit is made very very well and sturdy and I love it. Thank you so much mount it and Joey.!!

Sturdy a little too tall
I am super impressed with how stout this desk frame is with very little wobble at the highest reaches of its range. I installed a large 36x60 tabletop and have it loaded with a business printer 38 monitor and a few laptops. It has no problems with the weight. The hand crank works smoothly and is easy to operate. I like that it folds and slides back under the desk when not being used. And it has none of the finickiness of an electric motor. I'm 5'10 and can go from sitting height to standing height in 16 seconds. The only thing I miss from my electric office sit/stand desk is height presets but that's no fault of this desk. It took about 20 minutes to assemble the frame itself together. Installing the top took longer but only because I had to customize it some for the crank to fit properly (table skirts don't work well). My only complaint is that it's a touch too tall when fully lowered. The top of the desk frame measures 28.5 inches from the floor so with a 3/4 thick top (1 recommended) the lowest achievable height is 29.25. Computer desktops should be able to range 26- 30 when seated. To keep your arms in proper alignment this desk frame works fine with a pull-out keyboard tray or if you adjust your seat up with an elevated footrest. I am still very happy with this desk and it's been great to have in the home office! Recommended!

Excellent quality desk base. I only need to turn the crank 25 revolutions to get it to the right standing height for my 5' 5 frame. That does not take very long and works smoothly. The hand crank shaft might need lubricant/grease for ease of pushing in/out--the instructions don't indicate if this is needed/appropriate--knocked off one star for this. Topped my base with a gorgeous 2' x4' acacia wood butcher block top from Home Depot. Very satisfied with the outcome over the other choices on the market. The assembly and positioning of the desk is a two-person job.

Be careful while assembling the desk.
The product looks overall good but assembly instructions are confusing. I thought all bolts are labeled in the increasing order of their size. That is A1 A4. Because of this I ended up making a small dent while fixing the uppermost wooden piece. Instructions say to use A4 for the uppermost wooden piece. I thought A4 was the second largest and ended up making dent. Not sure if I can reorder just one wooden piece separately.
